ICT Applications Officer

Do you have an understanding of application development? Are you a proactive, creative worker who can provide technical solutions and support, working in an innovative team?

We’re seeking a professional, customer-focused individual to join our ICT Applications Specialist Team supporting two forward thinking Councils in the South West of Devon. Our ICT is pivotal to delivery of services across the area -from rugged moorland to scenic coasts!

Our organisation is continuing on an innovative programme of transformation, and information technology lies its heart.  Workflow is deployed through the whole organisation with full web to back office integration.  Our “Agile” way of working means officers can work effectively from our modern offices or remotely and at any time.  

We are recruiting a Specialist - Applications.  Working with the rest of the Applications team, the post holder will be expected to contribute to ICT projects, co-coordinating directly with both customers and suppliers, determining and implementing standards, tools and techniques.

A Basic DBS Check will be required upon appointment.
