About The Job:

Join Tokko Youth Hub, a dynamic charity in the heart of Luton dedicated to empowering young people to reach their full potential. We are seeking a passionate Young Parent Coordinator to join our team as part of a job share supporting young parents across a range of needs. We encourage applications from all backgrounds, especially those whose lived experience reflects that of our young people. Join Tokko and help young people lead happy, healthy lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to enhance service delivery and share insights.
  • Conduct assessments to identify and meet the needs of young parents.
  • Foster community support by partnering with other agencies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Assist young mothers in promoting their children’s development.
  • Plan and facilitate parenting courses and group activities.
  • Advocate for young parents in relevant meetings.
  • Prepare quarterly and yearly reports for project evaluation.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in supporting young people, especially young parents.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable about the challenges faced by young parents.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player
