About the Post:
An exciting opportunity had arisen for a permanent position in the Prevention team within Youth Justice and Vulnerable Adolescent Service.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team working with children and families to prevent further offending.
Barnsley Youth Justice Service is a high performing service that is proud of the innovative and reflective approach it takes to:

The Youth Justice Service Prevention Team works with children aged 10-17 who have been referred by the Police.
We are a small team that seeks excellence in practice from each other as we share a collective belief that change can be achieved if professionals work with children and families together for shared outcomes.
The role will support on a new area of work that will deliver evidence-based programmes of activity to reduce risk and ensure that children desist from further offending.
These sessions will take place on an evening and a weekend.
We are seeking applications from candidates who thrive in highly pressured and challenging environments, who have experience and or a passion for of working with children, young people and families in a collaborative, restorative child friendly way.
You will have proven experience of delivering group programmes, good interpersonal skills and have previous experience of working with children and families in Youth Justice or Youth Work settings.

Salary range
