Year Coordinator

We require a Year Coordinator to join our caring pastoral team. You will be passionate about helping children to remove barriers to learning, raising their aspirations, promoting good attendance and helping them to achieve their full potential. You must be fully committed to optimising the opportunities that are available to children and young people, secure in the knowledge that you will be joining an innovative and forward thinking school.

The successful applicant will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment and passion for maximising the academic, personal, social, and emotional development of all students. They will be a team player that is well organised and extremely flexible in a very fast paced role.

Contract: Temporary to cover maternity leave, 37 hours per week term time only + 5 days

About Cowley International College
Cowley is a high school and Sixth Form College with approximately 1500 students of which 250 are in the Sixth Form.
Cowley is steeped in history and is one of the oldest schools in St Helens, if not the oldest having been founded in 1716.

Cowley is a warm, caring and vibrant community and an exciting place to work there is always something happening here in our college, whether that be dance shows, sporting events, clubs or special guest talks. When we say to our new students that ‘there is something for everyone’ in terms of extra-curricular, we really mean it! Our extracurricular timetable covers two sides of A4 and whether a students’ interest be chess, reading, science or sport, we will likely have a club for them to join.

Cowley was graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in November 2021.
