Do you care deeply about Willenhall and want to help shape a brighter future for the community?
If so, this is your chance to lead real, positive change.
We are establishing a new Willenhall Neighbourhood Board as part of a 10‑year, government‑funded programme designed to strengthen community pride, improve local opportunities, and put residents at the heart of decision‑making.We are looking for a committed local person with the passion and qualities to Chair this Board and help drive meaningful impact.
As Chair, you will bring people together, champion local voices, and help lead the development of a new Willenhall Pride in Place Plan—a community‑driven blueprint for change.Working alongside at least eight other Board members—including the Coventry East MP and a Binley & Willenhall Ward Councillor—you will:
- Guide the recruitment of the wider Board
- Lead community conversations about local priorities
- Oversee delivery of the programme and ensure it meets its aims
- Help maintain strong communication and trust with residents throughout
We’re seeking someone who is:
- A trusted, independent presence in the community
- Able to unite different views and build consensus
- Creative in solving problems and open to new ideas
- Resilient, respected, and passionately committed to Willenhall’s future
