Castle Point Leisure is looking for an empathetic, motivated, and qualified Wellbeing Instructor to guide our community toward healthier, happier lives. You won’t just be teaching exercises; you’ll be a vital partner in our users’ journeys toward total vitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empower & Inspire: Guide individuals through our Health & Wellbeing programmes, helping them overcome barriers to activity with compassion and expertise.
  • Holistic Coaching: Conduct personalized inductions and "DOSE" chemical education, ensuring every member feels seen, supported, and confident.
  • Personal Training with Purpose: Deliver high-quality training sessions focused on functional longevity, mental wellbeing, and physical strength.
  • Community Connection: Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and social atmosphere where every member—regardless of age or ability—feels they belong.
  • Safe Havens: Ensure our facilities remain a clean, safe, and pleasant sanctuary for our members to focus on their wellness.

What You Bring:

  • A People-First Mindset: Exceptional customer care skills with the ability to build rapport and listen to the unique needs of our diverse community.
  • Qualified Expertise: A Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training (REPs/CIMSPA) and a Current First Aid Qualification.
  • Experience: A background in gym or community leisure settings with a proven ability to adapt coaching styles for everyone from "Legends" to newcomers.
  • Organisational Heart: Diligence in maintaining client records and a "Health & Safety first" approach to ensure a worry-free environment for all.
