We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer focused individual to play a central role in delivering specialist welfare support. You will need to have a detailed knowledge of current and impending welfare provision and related legislation, fully understanding the implications of reforms such as Universal Credit and the impact this has on customers and the Council in order to both accurately advise on and process claims and support staff knowledge development.

You will be able to operate on your own initiative while working as part of a wider team, be proactive and committed to service development, and have excellent analytical and research skills. But above else, if you have the ability to apply complex legislation to specific cases, and the interpersonal skills to communicate this effectively to a range of customers, then we want to hear from you.
