Role: Welfare Assistant (1:1)

Location: Westminster Community Primary School

Grade: Grade 3, Scale Point 3-4

Actual Salary: £18,816 to £19,111

Hours: 32.5 per week // 5 days per week // 39 weeks per year

Contract type: Fixed Term (For as long as the child remains at our school, the child is in receipt of enhanced funding and/or the child requires additional 1:1 support)

Prior to the start of the new academic year, the Governors and Headteacher at Westminster Community Primary School wish to appoint a skilled and committed 1:1 Welfare Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare,
  • Demonstrate high expectations of individual achievement and behaviour,
  • Be creative, calm, caring and enthusiastic,
  • Have good organisational and interpersonal skills,
  • Have flair, talent and initiative,
  • Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards.
  • Be able to work in close partnership with the whole school community.
