Upper KS2 Class Teacher
Post: Upper KS2 Class Teacher
Start Date: Monday 1st September 2026
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time
Pay Grade: M1 - M6
Our Vision in Action Guided by Mark 12:30-31, we strive to nurture the 'whole child'—encouraging them to love learning with all their heart and mind, while fostering a community built on loving our neighbours as ourselves.
- The Heart of Leadership: We seek an enthusiastic, experienced educator who embodies our Theologially rooted vision by valuing every child’s unique potential. You will be a source of inspiration, using your expertise to mentor colleagues and raise standards across our school family.
- KS2 Mastery: As an expert in the KS2 journey—with a deep understanding of the transition into Upper KS2, in particular Year 6 —you will guide our oldest pupils with confidence and academic rigor as they prepare for their next big steps.
- Compassionate Inclusion: Rooted in the command to 'love your neighbour,' you are a champion for every learner. You excel at adaptive teaching, ensuring that all children, particularly those with SEND, feel seen, feel supported, and empowered to succeed.
- Relationships Built on Respect: You understand that great learning begins with trust. By using positive behaviour strategies and modeling mutual respect, you create a classroom culture where every child feels safe, like they belong and feel valued.
- A Vibrant School Life: We are looking for a dynamic educator who sees the classroom as just the beginning. Whether through music, sport, or the arts, you are eager to share your talents through vibrant extra-curricular experiences that allow our pupils to thrive.
- Collaborative Spirit: You are a self-motivated professional who thrives in a team. Working in harmony with the year group, parents, and the wider community, you communicate with warmth and clarity to ensure our school’s reputation flourishes.
- Solution-Focused Creativity: With a positive "can-do" attitude, you bring fresh, creative ideas to the table, always looking for innovative ways to overcome challenges and achieve the best outcomes for our children.
- Unwavering Professionalism: Committed to the safety and well-being of all, you hold an expert understanding of KCSIE and see safeguarding as the foundation of our care for one another.
