
Unit Support Officer
What You'll Be Doing
As a Unit Support Officer in our Enforcement team, you'll provide vital administrative and financial support that helps keep the borough safe, healthy, and well-managed. Your work will underpin frontline services and help ensure we respond efficiently to the needs of our residents.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Team: Managing correspondence, records, and calendars so daily operations run smoothly.
Engaging with Customers: Being the first point of contact, offering a professional and friendly service to residents and partners.
Maintaining Accuracy: Keeping databases up-to-date and producing information that supports service performance.
Finance Administration: Processing payments, purchase orders and invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
Improving Services: Suggesting and implementing improvements that make our processes more effective for everyone.
You'll play a central role in helping the team stay organised, responsive, and resident-focused. It's a chance to build your skills while making a genuine difference.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and committed to excellent service. You'll bring:
Proven experience in providing administrative and financial support, including database management and financial systems.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and confidently with a wide range of people.
Excellent organisation, enabling you to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Good IT knowledge, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A collaborative mindset, working well with others while also being confident managing your own workload.

Salary range
- £34,275 - £40,344 per year
