About this Role

Learners’ Trust is a ambitious, dynamic multi-academy trust supporting schools across Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we empower them with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to make real choices as they grow.

Our vision is built on collaboration, leadership, and equity: developing outstanding leaders, delivering excellent teaching, and ensuring every learner receives the support they need. Our culture values each school’s identity, teamwork across the Trust, and a relentless focus on ensuring no child or family is left behind.

This is a pivotal operational support role at the heart of Learners’ Trust, providing high-quality administrative, organisational and project coordination support to the Trust Operations Manager and Chief Operations Officer.

You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of Trust operations, supporting policy compliance, operational processes, internal communications and staff engagement initiatives. Working across multiple workstreams, you will help drive efficiency, maintain strong governance practices and contribute to the successful delivery of operational projects that support the Trust’s strategic objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the Trust Operations Manager and COO, including managing operational inboxes and responding to queries.
  • Coordinate business-as-usual operational activity, maintaining accurate records and producing documentation in line with Trust procedures.
  • Support the review, version control, approval and communication of operational policies to ensure compliance with Trust and statutory requirements.
  • Organise and coordinate internal meetings, preparing agendas and papers, and tracking actions to completion.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination and monitoring of operational projects, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Support staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives, including communications, events, feedback collection and evaluation.

What we can offer you in return:

  • A welcoming, diverse and supportive community that values people and their contributions
  • Hybrid working arrangements, with a blended approach of office and home working
  • A generous benefits package including 28 days’ annual leave rising to 33 days after 5 years’ continuous service plus statutory public holidays
  • Access to an excellent pension scheme
  • Access to a wide range of staff benefits such as health and wellbeing support and staff discounts at major retailers
  • Investment in your development, with opportunities to grow your career and make a meaningful impact.

Our trust is a supportive, inclusive, caring and positive workplace and we welcome applications from all communities.

This is a full time, permanent position, working 37 hours per week.
