Harborough District Council are looking to recruit a Transformation Officer to support the delivery of our Harborough District Council Transformation framework and embed a culture of continuous improvement. Working within Transformation, you will be part of a focused team of dedicated professionals, providing specialist transformation support and advice across the organisation.

Our work is varied, ranging from detailed problem solving to delivering change, you will be engaging with senior leaders and members, and every day presents different challenges and rewards.

As a Transformation Officer, you will work across the council to improve services for our residents & staff. You will provide constructive challenges, empowering colleagues to take control of service improvements alongside delivering change across the council.

You will be innovative, resilient and have an eye for detail, identifying and delivering tangible benefits. Supporting your ability to focus both on the detail and the bigger picture, you will be self-driven, a good listener, have excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a wide range of stakeholders. You will demonstrate emotional intelligence and awareness of the impact of change, working with colleagues to deliver meaningful transformation.

You will have practical experience of efficient process control, knowledge of MS365 products and the ability to quickly understand bespoke specialist systems. You do not need a background in local government for this role. Successful candidates will demonstrate agility of thought and customer focus combined with a commercial outlook.
