    The Council’s Strategic Housing Service is looking to recruit a Temporary Accommodation Support Officer to support the team with managing properties used for temporary accommodation for those who are homeless and providing support to help them manage their pathway from homelessness to moving on.

    The role is within the Strategic Housing Service’s Business and Performance team which is responsible for the management of temporary accommodation including the collection of income, management of tenancy agreements, the monitoring of performance and the development of policies and procedures.

    This requires experience of processing data, financial processes and transactions, excellent administrative skills and ideally an understanding of housing issues such as landlord and tenant functions, homelessness and working with the public.

    This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight and experience of operational and strategic housing issues as well as housing management with a high-performing housing service.

    You will be required to work 18.5 hours per week normally be based at the Civic Centre but may also be required to travel and / or work from other locations as required.

    Interviews are currently scheduled for 10 April 2026.
