We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Support Officer to join our busy and professional Building Control team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality service that ensures the safety, compliance, and integrity of the built environment across our borough

As Technical Support Officer, you will:

• Manage and maintain accurate records, systems, and documentation relating to Building Regulation applications.
• Liaise with applicants, agents, and internal departments to ensure smooth processing and excellent customer service.
• Assist in the coordination of inspections, fee calculations, and statutory notifications.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong administrative and organisational skills, ideally within a technical or regulatory environment.
• Is confident using digital systems and can quickly learn new software tools.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Works well under pressure and can manage competing priorities.
