    About the role

    In this role you will support the team in keeping all statutory compliance workstreams up to date and ensuring residents always remain safe. You will provide day-to-day technical and administrative support across gas, electrical and other building safety areas, helping to coordinate inspections, servicing, remedial works and access arrangements.

    You will assist in maintaining accurate compliance records, reviewing certification, monitoring contractor performance and escalating any risks or concerns. Liaising with contractors, internal teams and residents, you will provide reassurance and support effective communication around safety works. The role also involves supporting site visits, audits and assurance activity, preparing reports and data, and contributing to continuous improvement of compliance processes in line with regulatory requirements.

    About you

    With previous experience of working within housing asset management, you must have a degree or equivalent qualification. A solid understanding of relevant regulations, building safety legislation, and compliance requirements within social housing is essential along with experience in overseeing contractors and monitoring works.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication, good standard of customer service combined with the ability to analyse data and produce clear, accurate reports is essential for this role. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle to conduct site visits is also required.
