About the team...

The Technical Support team works closely with many other service areas throughout the council along with our Councillors and Parish Councils. This enables us to get comments and contributions from all areas of our communities during the planning process.

We are a positive, interactive team working cohesively to ensure a well organised efficient service is maintained.

Key responsibilities...

As part of the Planning Support team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including checking and registering planning applications for new developments throughout the borough, issuing planning decision notices, facilitating the planning committee process and the appeals process.

In-house training is provided for all tasks and comprehensive written procedures are available. (Please see the job specification for further details).
