About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Council’s Environmental Protection Team following a full team restructure.

The role requires an individual with excellent communication skills as well as a flexible and positive solution focused approach.

The successful applicant will work closely with colleagues across other Council departments and external partner agencies.

We are looking for innovative, enthusiastic and confident individuals with drive and determination to join our Environmental Protection Team. The role will be both office and home based and will be working across the whole of North Northamptonshire.

What will you be doing?

We are looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated specialist to carry out statutory enforcement, technical, advisory and other general duties in connection with Environmental Protection and general public health functions and to assist the Environmental Protection Manager with the operation and management of the service.

About you

You will require a BSc or MSc in Environmental Health or a level 5 qualification/HND/Degree preferably in an environmental science related subject along with additional relevant qualifications and extensive experience within the Environmental Protection field.
