We are recruiting a Team Leader at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Penallta House / Highways House

Team: Highway Services


This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.

Lead the future of sustainable infrastructure as our new Team Leader – Sustainable Drainage Approving Body and Highway Development Control.

Shape developments that protect communities and the environment, while guiding a skilled technical team. Ensure applications for approval and adoption are processed fairly, effectively and in an efficient manner.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • Relevant Level 4, 5 or 6 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW).
  • Proven ability to provide technical advice and guidance to team members, other departments and external organisations.
  • Experience in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of SuDS or Natural Flood Management.
