
Teaching Assistant SEN Support - All Saints C of E Primary School

We are now looking to appoint 3 enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our team.
This role will involve supporting children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with a particular focus on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), working both in class and in small group settings. The successful candidate will also provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with specific needs.
What is the job role?Key Responsibilities:
• Support teaching and learning within the classroom and in small group interventions.
• Provide 1:1 support for children with special educational needs.
• Assist with planning and delivering tailored interventions under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
• Help to create an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds an NVQ Level 2 childcare-related qualification (or equivalent).
• Has a good understanding of how children learn and develop.
• Ideally has experience of working in a primary school setting.
• Has experience or interest in working with children with specific and/or complex needs
• Can work effectively with individuals and small groups of children.
• Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and able to show initiative.
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Is able to work well as part of our whole school team and school community.
• Has a passion for quality teaching and learning, enabling the best outcomes for our children.
• Supports our Christian ethos as a church school.

The role will be paid at Grade 2 or 3, dependent on experience and will be fixed term whilst pupil remains in school and/or top up funding is in place.

Salary range
- £17,176.88 - £18,577.04 per year
