Hours: 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Meadowside School is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Level 3).

This is a school for approximately 115 pupils with severe and complex needs, ranging from 11-19 years of age. Our pupil numbers are increasing, and we are excited to be opening a second post-16 site at Leasowe in September. Applicants should be able to work at either of our school sites.

We require an energetic Teaching Assistant, with relevant experience of working with pupils with special needs, to join our very friendly and dedicated team within a positive and ever lively environment. Applicants should have a secure knowledge of child development and be highly committed to supporting teaching and learning both on and off site.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. These posts require an enhanced DBS check. Full induction will be given with opportunities for further training.
