We are ambitious for every one of our pupils and equally ambitious about the team we build around them.

Working here is rewarding, fast-paced and full of variety. You will be challenged, encouraged to grow and trusted to make a real difference.

Our pupils are some of the most remarkable young people you will ever meet. They deserve colleagues who bring energy, resilience, creativity and an unwavering belief in what they can achieve. In return, you will become part of an exceptionally supportive, committed and close-knit staff team, united by one purpose: giving our pupils the very best possible opportunities in life.

No two days at The Observatory School are the same. Every day brings new challenges, new achievements and new opportunities to have a genuine and lasting impact.

Roles may be based across any of our three campuses; Vyner, Leasowe and Solar with salary dependent on experience.

As part of our team, you will benefit from:

  • Company Pension
  • Employee Mentor Programme
  • Access to high-quality CPD and professional development
  • Free on-site parking
  • Occupational Sick Pay
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Occupational Health Support
  • Access to Health Care Plans

More importantly, you will join a school where your contribution matters.
The Observatory School is vibrant, ambitious and full of opportunity. We celebrate progress, embrace challenge and work together to create something genuinely special for our pupils.

If you are passionate about making a difference, excited by a challenge and ready to bring your skills, personality and commitment to an exceptional team, we would love to hear from you.

Please email recruitment@theobservatoryschool.wirral.sch.uk, letting us know which position you are interested in, and we will send you an application pack.

Interviews will take place on a rolling basis, so we encourage early applications. Vacancies may close once a suitable candidate has been appointed.]
