    Pay Band D / SCP 5 – 6 £25,583 - £25,989 plus SEN of £1,539 pro rata, per annum

    [Actual Salary: £17,288 - £17,562 plus SEN: £1040 per annum]

    2 x 27.5 hours per week /5 Days per week / 46 weeks per year

    (To provide 1-1 support for pupils with an Educational Health and Care Plan at Westvale Primary School. The contract is terminable in the happening of a future event, namely sufficient funds are not provided by the Local Authority or by other firms/sponsors and/or the pupil leaves Westvale Primary School and/or the provision allowed for in the pupil’s statement/EHCP reduces or ceases.

    The Governors of Westvale Primary School wish to appoint two Level 2 Teaching Assistants & SEN to join the school and work as part of a class team providing 1-1 support for pupils. The postholder must have experience of working collaboratively with staff to provide an inclusive, multi-sensory approach to teaching and learning. They will have recent CPD relevant to the following areas of SEN:

    • Communication and Interaction: intensive interaction, attention autism, Gestalt Language Processing, Lego/brick therapy, and/or sensory circuits
    • Candidates should be suitably qualified and have experience of working with pupils with

    Social, Emotional and Mental Health: relevant training related to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), sensory circuits, anxiety, and/or emotional regulation.

    • Cognition and Learning: executive functioning, dyslexia, dyscalculia, accredited CPD with a specific English or Mathematics intervention, working memory and/or multi-sensory teaching approaches.
