    TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 (Lower KS2)

    26.25 hours per week / 46 weeks term time

    Fixed term until 31 August 2026 (To be reviewed – assigned to SEN children)

    PAY BAND D / SCP 5-6

    £25,583 - £25,989 pro rata per annum

    Plus SEN Allowance of £1539 pro rata per annum (if assigned to SEN Children)

    Actual Salary £16,502 - £16,764 per annum

    Actual SEN of £993 per annum (if assigned to SEN Children)

    The Governing Body of St Albert’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced, motivated, creative and caring teaching assistant with an enthusiasm for enriching the lives of young children in our school. The Teaching Assistant will be working as an additional adult to support children with SEN in our Year 3 class.

    The successful candidate must :

    • be committed to our inclusive and caring environment and the achievement of every pupil in our care.
    • have experience of working as a TA
    • have experience of working with SEN children
    • have high expectations and standards
    • be flexible and adaptable and able to work as part of a dedicated and committed team.
    • have Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or above.
    • have experience in the classroom and able to work independently using your own initiative.
    • be dedicated to ensuring children make academic and pastoral progress.
    • have excellent attendance and punctuality
