We are looking for a committed and compassionate teaching assistant to join our team as a key worker for a child in Upper Key Stage 2 with a diagnosis of ASC, ADHD and SEMH needs. This role will suit someone who is passionate about inclusive education, skilled in building positive relationships, and has a trauma-informed approach to behaviour and emotional regulation.
We are looking for someone who:
Can demonstrate effective and nurturing classroom practice
Is experienced in supporting children with complex SEND, especially autism and emotional needs
Has a solid understanding of trauma-informed approaches
Can support emotional regulation and demonstrate a high level of empathy and consistency
Understands the importance of strong, trusting relationships in helping children thrive
Is an excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Brings positivity, patience and flexibility to every day

Visits to the school are welcomed - we are offering an opportunity to visit on Monday 30th June at 4:00pm.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview and observed in school. These will take place during the week beginning Monday 14th July 2025.
