Part time 30.86 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Meadowside School is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Level 1).

This is a school for approximately 115 pupils with severe and complex needs, ranging from 11-19 years of age. We require an energetic Teaching Assistant, preferably with relevant experience of working with pupils with special needs, to join our friendly team. Applicants should have a secure knowledge of child development and be highly committed to supporting teaching and learning, both on and off site.

The post is for 30.86 hours per week (8.55am to 3.25pm with an additional hour per week) for 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 training days).

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. These posts require an enhanced DBS check. Full induction will be given with opportunities for further training.
