    What is the job role?

    The Governors of Park Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced part-time Teaching Assistant (afternoons) to join our dedicated team. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, enthusiastic, and has strong classroom experience, along with a caring and supportive approach to working with children, to join our Key Stage 2 team.

    Although the role will primarily be based in Key Stage 2, there may be occasions where you will be required to provide support in other year groups as needed.

    This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and who is committed to helping pupils reach their full potential.

    The working pattern for this role is: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 4:00pm


    Who are we looking for?

    We are looking for an excellent candidate who will:

    • Hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent)
    • Support teaching and learning within a Key Stage classroom
    • Lead small group interventions and provide 1:1 support for pupils
    • Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating empathy, focus, and commitment
    • Be committed to giving the very best support to every child
    • Support our pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development
