What is the job role?

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant with relevant qualifications to support teaching and learning within a phase as a dynamic and

proactive member of the team.

The successful applicant will also support children at lunchtimes by organising play and

other activities (suitable lunch breaks will be arranged to accommodate this).

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

  • places children at the centre
  • is able to build strong relationships with children, colleagues and families
  • has a strong understanding of phonics and early language development
  • understands the Early Years curriculum and early childhood development
  • has a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
  • models effective communication skills
  • is proactive and keen to learn
