Founding Early Years Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the founding team at Kingsbourne Academy, a brand-new primary school opening in September 2026.

We are seeking enthusiastic, nurturing and ambitious individuals to help establish an exceptional Early Years provision from the very beginning. This is a rare opportunity to join a school at the start of its journey and play a key role in shaping the experiences of the first children and families who join our community.

Kingsbourne Academy will open initially with a Reception class and grow year by year alongside its children. As a founding member of staff, you will help establish the culture, relationships and learning environment that will define the school for years to come.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of School and class teacher, you will:

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing within our Early Years provision

• Contribute to the development of engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments

• Support observation, assessment and planning processes

• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Participate in transition activities, including home visits and family engagement events

• Help establish a warm, nurturing and ambitious school culture from day one
