    What is the job role?

    The Headteacher and Governing Body at Moat House Primary School are looking to appoint 3 Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and dedicated team from September.

    You will support the class teacher and work with the children in the classroom, to help them access teaching and learning and achieve their full potential, this may include working with small groups of children under the guidance of the class teacher and you should have good literacy and numeracy skills.

    You will support children with neurodivergence who need adaptive approaches to the curriculum providing assisting one to one assistance or small group support so experience of working with children with a range of SEND needs is desirable.

    You will be keen to develop your own knowledge and practices further and will be happy to engage in professional development opportunities.

    • An experienced Teaching Assistant (minimum of NVQ Level 2)
    • Empathy and understanding when working with students with SEND needs
