Pensby High School is an 11-16 co-educational and non-selective secondary school, in a highly selective local authority. We are currently looking to employ a teacher of music to join our successful department. Pensby High School has seen a rapid improvement in outcomes for its students. We are committed to placing the development of teachers and therefore students¿ learning at the forefront of what we do. As a result, we have seen a rapid growth in the number of students across both key stage 3 and 4, with parents and students increasingly seeing the school as their first choice, and the school is now oversubscribed. Consequently, interest in Music at KS4 has grown considerably and the school requires additional teaching

In addition, all staff have access to Benenden Health care, family friendly working policy and opportunities for personal development to support individuals in their role and career.

The core function of the post is to teach Music with the ability to teach at key stage 3 and 4 are essential for this post. New appointments are supported by a tailored coaching programme and all staff contribute to a collegiate coaching programme.

Teach across key stages 3 and 4
Display and promote excellence in teaching and learning
Inspire Pupils
Have a commitment to raising achievement
