Ancora House School is an outstanding provision based in Cheshire West and Chester. Our Headteacher and Governors wish to recruit an outstanding Teacher of English to join our dedicated and experienced team.
Ancora House School has two sites, one at Ancora House Mental Health Unit in Chester and the community provision at Castle Park, Frodsham. This post is based in Ancora House Community Site, Frodsham.

The successful candidate will be able to adapt their skills flexibly and creatively to meet the needs of our learners with empathy and sensitivity. Trauma informed practice underpins the work of the school; person centred approaches and positive relationship building enables our learners to re-connect with their education and to make good progress despite their difficulties.
Our curriculum is built around individual needs, some learners will be accessing learning at a high level, whilst others will need activities to re-engage them with learning. If you can bring skills, warmth and passion for learning, then we would love to see your application.
