We are recruiting a Teacher at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term until 31st August 2027
Location: Blackwood Primary School

We pay an attractive salary of £33,731 - £51,942 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed practitioner who can plan and deliver high-quality, innovative and creative teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent classroom practice, high expectations and a strong understanding of the new curriculum. They will work effectively both independently and as part of a team, showing strong organisational skills. They will build nurturing relationships with children, staff, parents, governors and the wider community. They will inspire, motivate and empower others, promoting ambition for all.

A strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour are essential within a supportive school environment.

For the role, we ask that you have:

• Qualified teacher status and current EWC Registration.
• Evidence of successful relevant teaching experience including teaching practice.
• The ability to create a challenging and effective learning environment and have effective pupil management skills.
