We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting pupil’s emotional well-being, with experience in providing one-on-one or small group interventions and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
You will work collaboratively within the school pastoral team following school policies and procedures. You will provide emotional and social support whilst delivering tailored ELSA interventions. Liaising with parents is key to this role to ensure they are kept informed about their child’s progress, and to collaborate on strategies to support their emotional well-being.
Ideally you will have existing ELSA training, however we would be willing to provide training for the right candidate.
Our children are well provided and cared for, and we are looking for someone who can come and add value to our team.
Millfields is an inclusive school where you will be offered opportunities for continuing professional development. You would be joining a strong welcoming staff with a great team spirit.
If you think you could be the right person to join our team, we would love to hear from you. For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Mrs Hazel Beamish, Interim Executive Headteacher via the school office.
Applications should be addressed to Mrs Hazel Beamish, Interim Executive Headteacher, and sent to schooloffice@millfields.wirral.sch.uk, along with a covering letter.
