Introduction

We're seeking an ambitious and innovative Systems & Intelligence Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge data, insight and case management solutions across Children's Services. You'll be equally comfortable discussing strategy with senior leaders, analysing complex datasets, leading multidisciplinary teams, and identifying how emerging technologies can improve services and outcomes.

What’s the role? …

Lead the transformation of Children's Services through smarter systems and better insight. You will oversee the development of case management systems, user-centred workflows and data solutions that improve frontline practice and decision-making. Combining technical expertise, strategic thinking and leadership, you'll ensure services have the information, tools and intelligence needed to achieve the best outcomes for children and families

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a strategic and adaptable leader who can manage a diverse portfolio spanning case management systems, data engineering, business intelligence and performance. You will have the ability to bring together teams with different technical specialisms, translate complex challenges into practical solutions, and lead change with confidence. Equally comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders, balance innovation with governance, and stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments. Most importantly, you will be passionate about ensuring that systems, data and insight are at the heart of service improvement and better outcomes for children and young people.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, but we operate a hybrid approach where you may be able to work from home for up to three days per week, subject to the needs of the business.

Salary

£64,938 - £69,660 per annum (SMG1)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
