We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Swimming Teacher to join our team at Sawley Junior School on a Temporary contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping children develop essential water confidence and swimming skills within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

As our Swimming Teacher, you will deliver high-quality swimming lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, ensuring all pupils have the opportunity to achieve their expected outcomes in swimming and water safety. You will plan and deliver engaging sessions, assess pupil progress, and promote safe, positive behaviour both in the water and on poolside.

Working closely with school staff, poolside support adults and external swim development partners, you will help create an enjoyable, structured and safe swimming programme. You will also play an important role in safeguarding pupils, supervising changing areas appropriately, and maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
