About the role
We are looking for a candidate with knowledge and experience in building maintenance, legal compliance, and tenant relations. Overseeing the investigation, coordination, and resolution of disrepair claims across our housing portfolio. In this role you will be responsible for bridging the gap between legal teams, contractors, and residents, ensuring that all works are delivered within the agreed timeframe.
The service currently has a considerable backlog of outstanding dis-repair cases and you will play a key role in tackling this work and being proactive in motivating the teams to achieve targets and deadlines to realise these goals.
This is an opportunity to develop your site management skills. Our focus on customer service makes this work rewarding as we are able to deliver housing improvements to residents across our city.

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is term-time only. For part time applicants, where your working week is less than the council’s basic 37 hour week, contracted overtime rated pay will not form part of your working hours. This is because overtime rated pay is payable for hours worked in excess of the council’s basic 37 hour week. Your starting salary will be pro rata based on the basic annual salary elements of pay between £38,626 & £41,511.

Salary range
- £47,238 - £50,766 per year
