Location: Observatory House/Slough/Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)

What you’ll be doing:
This is an exciting time to join the Strategic Commissioning Team in Slough as we continue to transform services amid significant changes across the health landscape and Local Authority finance. Following a comprehensive restructure, we are seeking a Strategic Commissioner (Older People) to complete our new team.
You will bring substantial experience in strategic commissioning and service transformation across Older People’s services, with a strong track record of delivering sustainable improvements in partnership with Health, Housing and other key stakeholders.
The role includes leading a portfolio spanning the review of in-house and commissioned services, strengthening partnership working, and embedding co-production through the Older People’s Steering Group. Working closely with residents, people with lived experience, providers and partners, you will drive change that improves outcomes, promotes independence and delivers value for money.
About You:
You will bring strong strategic leadership and commissioning experience, with the ability to manage complex budgets, partnerships and service improvement programmes. You will be confident in influencing change and driving innovation across health, social care, and the independent and voluntary sectors.
