Specialist Teaching Assistant

Permanent – 29 hours p/w

Location: Ray Lodge Centre

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Early Years SEND Support Team. This team includes Home Visitors, Area SENCOs, Specialist Advisory Teachers and Specialist Teaching Assistants. The team provides specialist assessment, advice and support for children aged 0 to 5 years with a range of special educational needs and/or disabilities across all early years settings, including schools. The team support settings to deliver their statutory duties, playing a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of provision and outcomes for children in the early years.

As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will be working across all early years settings, providing advice and support for young children with a range of SEND, under the direction of an advisory teacher.
