Permanent – Full time

We are recruiting for multiple Permanent Adult Social Workers to join our Adult Social Care Team in Redbridge. These permanent roles offer an excellent opportunity for experienced social workers to support adults with complex needs through high-quality assessments, safeguarding practices, and community-based care planning.
Working within a collaborative multi-disciplinary adult social care team, you will help individuals maintain independence, promote wellbeing, and ensure effective support is delivered through integrated health and social care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete complex, holistic assessments and develop person-centred care and support plans for adults and their careers with a wide range of needs.
- Manage and progress a caseload of complex adult social care cases, ensuring effective planning, reviews, and interventions.
- Apply strong knowledge of adult social care legislation, including responsibilities under the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act.
- Deliver strengths-based and whole-family approaches to support planning, promoting independence and positive outcomes.
- Work closely with health professionals and partner agencies to coordinate community services and integrated care.
- Support hospital discharge processes and admission avoidance initiatives, ensuring individuals receive the appropriate support in the community.
- Conduct risk assessments and safeguarding interventions, implementing strategies and contingency plans to protect vulnerable adults.
- Produce clear, evidence-based reports and case documentation to meet professional and organisational standards.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and decision-making skills, applying evidence-based practice to complex situations.
- Lead and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, case conferences, and service improvement initiatives.
- Promote high professional standards and effective communication within the team and with external partners.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
- Registration with Social Work England (or eligibility to register).
- Knowledge of adult social care legislation, safeguarding procedures, and statutory responsibilities.
- Experience managing complex caseloads within adult social work or community social care services.
- Strong communication, analytical, and case management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Experience:
- Previous experience as an Adult Social Worker
Licence/Certification:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work (required)
- Registration with Social Work England (required)

Salary range
- £43,680 - £49,056 per year
