As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in assessing requests for intervention and determining the appropriate support needed. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring confident decision-making and effective teamwork. Building strong relationships with partner agencies and localities within Derbyshire is vital to ensure successful collaboration.

Requirements :

  • BA Honours in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England (refer to job and person profile for detailed information).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a person-centred approach to building rapport and relationships with children and families.
  • Reflective practice and development capabilities, enabling flexible and thoughtful social work interventions.

This role also attracts a market supplement. This is a separate payment made in addition to the normal salary as detailed below. All market supplement payments are reviewed 6 months prior to their proposed end date to determine whether the supplement should continue.
