About the role

We are looking for a social worker with experience of working in mental health services to join our Safeguarding Adults Team.

The role is for a full time Social Worker, as a Social Worker you would be directly supervised by one of the team's Principal Social Workers and we will support your continuous professional development. The role is a fast-paced role with a focus on short term work, you will work directly with individuals, care providers and stakeholders.

The role Is a hybrid role with a balance of days working in the community, office and remote.

What will you be doing?

You will be working in line with key legislation such as the Care Act 2014 and frameworks such as NSAB Decision Making Framework Tool.

The role uses a person-centred approach which includes getting the voice of the person, listening and adopting professional curiosity to your practice.

About you

You will need to have:

  • Experience of safeguarding
  • Experience of working with a range of individuals
  • Knowledge of the Care Act 2014
  • Effective Communication and IT skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Support individuals with a strength-based approach
  • Have a good understanding of risk management
  • Ability to work to deadlines

Please note you must have a Social Work qualification for this role
