Are you ready to embark on a thrilling adventure in mental health care? Join us at Blaenau Gwent's Community Mental Health Team and be part of a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a real difference. We're seeking a passionate Social Worker to join our multi-disciplinary team at Cwm Coch, Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan. If you're ready to put your skills to the test and improve outcomes for some of our most vulnerable citizens living with serious mental illness, this is the role for you!

Step into a role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. As a registered Social Worker with our vibrant Community Mental Health Team, you'll find yourself at the forefront of transformative care in Blaenau Gwent. Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary setup at Cwm Coch, Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan, you'll be immersed in a fast-paced environment where your expertise is not just valued but essential.

Your journey with us will involve delving into the heart of adult services, where you'll navigate complex scenarios with compassion and skill. Undertaking assessments and crafting care and treatment plans will be second nature, as you align your practice with the provisions set forth in the Mental Health (Wales) Measure (2010). Your approach won't just be clinical; it'll be holistic, encompassing the unique strengths and aspirations of each individual and their support network.

Picture yourself as a beacon of hope, championing recovery and independence for those living with serious mental illness. Whether you're already an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) or eager to pursue this prestigious qualification, our team will provide the support and resources you need to excel.

It's not just about the clinical aspect – It’s about the relationships you build, the stories you hear, and the lives you touch. You'll be a pillar of strength for individuals and families, a trusted guide through the often-turbulent waters of mental health care. Your dedication will be matched only by the satisfaction of seeing progress, no matter how incremental, and knowing that you've played a vital role in someone's journey towards wellness.

In this role, you won't just be a Social Worker; you'll be a catalyst for change, a beacon of hope, and a vital part of our community's support system. If you're ready to make a real impact, to challenge yourself in ways you never thought possible, and to be part of something truly special, join us at Blaenau Gwent's Community Mental Health Team. Together, we'll forge a path towards brighter tomorrows for all.
