Bolsover Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START)
Are you someone who enjoys working with short-term clients in the community to support adults to maximise their independence?
Are you a creative problem solver who can work well on their own initiative and within a START team environment?
If so, Derbyshire County Council Adult Social Care and Health wants to hear from you. We are seeking to recruit a Social Worker for a permanent part-time contract based at The Arc, covering the Bolsover area.
As part of our Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START), you will be required to take a strength-based approach to deliver a proportionate, personalised, safe and sustainable response for local adults, their carers, and families. You must be able to work autonomously in a multi-disciplinary team.
A positive approach to risk taking, personal resilience and the ability to contribute to inter-agency and multi-disciplinary approaches, both across the Council and in other statutory bodies, are key to this role.
You will be required to have a working knowledge of relevant legislation, you will be undertaking safeguarding work, mental capacity assessments/best interest decisions, Care Act assessments, supporting colleagues in the team, supporting ASYE's/student when required and MARM work etc.

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.
Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
