
Site Services Officer - Sowe Valley Primary School
Sowe Valley Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Site Services Officer to play a key role in maintaining our school environment and ensuring the safety, security and smooth day-to-day operation of the site.
Working under the direction of the Headteacher and School Business Manager, the successful candidate will undertake a range of caretaking, maintenance and cleaning duties, helping to provide a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring the security and safety of the school premises
• Opening and closing the school site
• Acting as a key holder for the school
• Carrying out routine maintenance, cleaning and caretaking duties
• Undertaking minor repairs and general site upkeep
• Supporting the school's health and safety procedures
• Managing and maintaining school resources and equipment
• Providing practical support to the wider school community as required
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
• Is enthusiastic, dependable and committed
• Has a good level of DIY and maintenance skills
• Is physically fit and able to carry out the demands of the role
• Is flexible, adaptable and able to work on their own initiative
• Works effectively as part of a team
• Has previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
• Is willing to take annual leave during school holiday periods

Salary range
- £26,847 - £30,515 per year
