The Governing Body of Riverside Primary are seeking to appoint a Full Time Site Manager.

We are looking for someone highly dependable, self-motivated, enthusiastic and proactive with a good understanding of health & safety, with a range of practical and DIY skills to join our school community at this very exciting time.

We are at the end of the design stages of our new school build and should be moving out of the current building next year so the role will involve liaising with contractors on a regular basis.

We would like the successful candidate to start after half term on Monday 2nd November 2026 however, exceptions can be made to this for the right person.

Responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking regular Health & Safety checks
- Responsibility for the security of the site
- Maintaining a safe environment for our children, staff and visitors
- Grounds maintenance
- Basic building maintenance and DIY
- Assisting staff when required
- Supervising the outsourced cleaning staff to ensure high cleaning standards
- Liaising with contractors


Hours of Work:

Monday - Friday (term time)
7am - 10am
2pm - 6pm

Monday - Friday (school holidays)
8am - 3pm or 9am - 4pm.

This post requires an organised and reliable individual who is flexible and able to use their own initiative. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenges and rewards of working in a busy school environment. Training and support will be offered.

The contract is initially for a 1 year fixed term contract but will be extended for the right candidate.
