Site Manager

Required to start ASAP

Band F, Full Time Permanent, 52-week contract, 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Site Manager, who feels that they are able to make a real difference here at Brookdale Primary School. We are keen to hear from individuals who will support our aims and ethos and who are willing to work as part of a friendly team. Experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Requirements:

  • Someone who enjoys working with children and believes in our vision of including, inspiring, engaging and nurturing our pupils
  • An enthusiastic individual who will take pride in their work
  • A willingness to care for our school building to make it a pleasant learning & working environment
  • Someone who is willing to learn and can use their own initiative
  • Has good basic IT skills and good interpersonal sills
  • Ability to undertake cosmetic and minor repairs to the school building
  • Ability to manage the day to day running of the school building
  • Ability to liaise with contractors and other agencies
  • Willingness to undertake training to further develop their knowledge and experience

Application forms and supporting letters must be submitted, explaining on no more than two sides of A4 paper how they meet the essential and desirable criteria for the role. These should be returned to school for the attention of the Headteacher, Mrs Kate Ball, by the closing date.
