    We are looking for a confident public speaker with a passion for community, inclusion, and British values. We are looking for a warm, organised and enthusiastic Sessional Registration Support Officer to conduct Citizenship Ceremonies. To lead and deliver meaningful and memorable ceremonies that mark one of the most significant moments in a person's life - becoming a British Citizen.

    About the Role:

    As our Citizenship Ceremonies Officer and Conductor, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering citizenship ceremonies in line with Home Office requirements. These formal yet celebratory events welcome new citizens and recognise their journey to becoming part of the British community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct ceremonies in a professional, inclusive and engaging manner.
    • Deliver speeches that reflect the significance of the occasion, incorporating the values and responsibilities of British citizenship.
    • Liaise with dignitaries, such as the Lord-Lieutenant or Mayor, ensuring protocols are followed.
    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure each participant has a positive, memorable experience.
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal and policy requirements.

    About You:

    We are looking for someone who is:

    • An excellent communicator with strong public speaking skills.
    • Organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Comfortable dealing with people from diverse backgrounds and sensitive to cultural needs.
    • Confident in managing event logistics and adhering to official procedures.
    • Proficient in using basic IT systems and administrative tools.
