    Location: Lynton House

    Fixed Term Contract – 12 Months

    An opportunity has arisen for a 12-month contract for a Families First Service Coordinator, to provide support and coordinate various activities across the Families First Service. This role involves directly reporting to and supporting senior management.

    Key responsibilities include:

    -Ensuring the smooth operation of the service by offering guidance and support to all staff, managers, and heads of service, and ensuring adherence to council policies, pathways, and governance throughout operational activities.

    - Leading the development of the team suite of reports as directed by senior management, identifying themes, patterns, and trends, including demand-led data, and implementing and maintaining trackers to support compliance with corporate policies such as training, recruitment, supervision, PMR compliance, and managing the spend control panel.

    - Managing data collection, analysis, and reporting for the service and further developing the dashboard.

    - Coordinating national rollout visits, including agenda setting and developing presentations.

    - Centrally coordinating the service's handling of all complaints, and MP and Councillor enquiries, including drafting responses based on contributions from identified workers for the senior leadership team.

    - Organising, facilitating, and attending various meetings and panels, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up actions.

    - Overseeing the annual service and BCP plans to ensure targets are met.

    Experience required:

    - Data analysis and report writing.

    - Working in partnership or a multi-agency context.

    - Developing and delivering training packages.

    - Organising and running groups.

    - Managing budgets.

    Essential skills:

    - Excellent spoken, written, and communication skills.

    - Strong presentation and organisational skills.

    - Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.

    - Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop other staff members.

    - Effective prioritisation and time management skills with a competent level of autonomy.

    - Computer literacy, including experience with Power BI.

    - Ability to write comprehensive reports and work to tight deadlines.

    This is a full-time, office-based role (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm) located in Lynton House.
