
Senior Surveyor
Located right in the heart of the Wembley regeneration area and working throughout Brent, we require an experienced Building Surveyors at RBI Class 2E- 2F.
You will be responsible for delivering an effective Building Control Service to our customers on various domestic, commercial, and mixed-use projects. You will be expected to take responsibility and administer the surveying requirements for an area of the borough. You will be expected to work on your own dealing with all aspects of building control / regulations inquires and tasks and assist in the supervision of other officers. When invited, you will be expected to join the dangerous structures out-of-hours service where you will receive a monthly allowance for your retention and participation.
The PersonWe are looking to recruit enthusiastic, flexible, forward thinking, ambitious and customer focussed surveyors with relevant Building Control knowledge and experience of dealing with Building Regulation applications at plan examination and site inspection stages.
You will be registered under a credited institute and be on your way to becoming a fully chartered professional
You will need to be an effective communicator with all stakeholders, technically sound with the ability to promote and represent the Building Control service.
You will support and assist the Service in delivering projects on time, while ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and other statutory requirements.
Where appropriate you will be required to supervise other surveyors and provide training under an agreed structured programme.
You will need a full driving license and the use of a car to undertake the duties.
You will receive car mileage allowance for using your car and a parking permit to use within the borough.
You will be encouraged to work towards the BSR Class 2(E/F) and to undertake ongoing CPD training via the myLABC programme and your own Professional
Institutes requirements.

Salary range
- £53,607 - £59,739 per year
