Winchester is a beautiful, historic city, and the wider district which has stunning rural countryside (including part of the South Down’s National Park) and bustling market towns. This post will support the planning functions we deliver on behalf of the South Downs National Park Authority.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced planner who can effectively manage a varied caseload of planning applications including pre-application enquiries, complex planning applications, appeals and post application work and occasionally some planning enforcement. You must be a motivated and well organised worker with a positive outlook who is able to deliver good performance and high standards of customer care. Experience of Planning Committee and Appeals is required, and the candidate will be a member of the RTPI or eligible for membership.
A full clean driving licence is essential.
